Chris Hurley - Founder & CEO

Chris Hurley founded Revolutionary Angels to help entrepreneurs get the funding, advice, and connections they need to launch their businesses. Since the economy has taken a turn for the worse, there are more people out of work or concerned that they could be out of work as well. Many of these people are looking at this moment as an opportunity to have more control over their own futures. We want to help the accidental and the lifelong entrepreneur with the advice and funding they need to build successful businesses.

Prior to founding Revolutionary Angels, Chris was in the Corporate Development group at Sun Microsystems where he was responsible for managing global relationships with Cisco Systems, EMC, Hitachi, LSI, and Huawei that delivered over $1 billion in revenue to Sun.

Chris has also served as VP of Sales & Marketing at Sanbolic, a software development company specializing in file systems technologies and Director of Sales at Breakaway Solutions, an ASP hosting company that was the precursor to cloud computing.

Prior to Breakaway Solutions, Chris was the founder and CEO of The Network Factory, a computer networking consultancy and Boston Interactive Systems, a database development and consulting firm. Both firms provided IT consulting services to major corporations in New England.

Steve Duplessie - Founder and Senior Analyst, Enterprise Strategy Group

Steve Duplessie is the founder of and Senior Analyst at the Enterprise Strategy Group. Recognized worldwide as the leading independent authority on enterprise storage, Steve has also consistently been ranked as one of the most influential IT analysts.

Steve is one of the most sought-after speakers in the industry at trade shows, press meetings, conferences and industry events worldwide. Known for his “pull no punches” straight shooting style, Steve has been the keynote speaker at events throughout the United States, Europe and Asia – and has appeared on multiple international television programs. Steve’s presentations are renowned for being educational, opinionated, thought-provoking and entertaining, as well as for drawing “standing room only” capacity crowds.

Prior to founding ESG, Steve was the founder and CEO of Invincible Technologies Corp., a manufacturer of fault-tolerant NAS systems. Prior to founding ITC, Steve held management positions at Clearpoint Research, where he started and ran a storage peripherals business unit for several years. Prior to Clearpoint, Steve began his career at EMC in sales.

Steve graduated from Babson College, Wellesley, MA with a BA/BS. He lives in Franklin, MA with his wife Jessica, kids Kaitlyn, Jason, Michael and Lily, as well as their dog Abby and cat Floyd.

Maureen Ellenberger - Fellow at New England Clean Energy Foundation,
Senior Lecturer, MIT Entrepreneurship Center at MIT Sloan School of Management

Maureen brings over 28 years of executive management and entrepreurnial experience in professional services, technology enabled solutions and online consumer service sectors. Early in her career, Maureen worked at Bell Laboratories focusing on operating systems development and project management. These skills provided an excellent foundation for a variety of roles in the software field and led to her focus on creating and managing companies from startup and early stage, positioning them for growth and sustainability in rapidly changing environments. Her first successful startup company, Eggrock Partners, launched in September, 1997. As CEO and president, she grew the company from a business plan and model to a profitable $30 million systems integration and business solutions firm focused on emerging enterprises and mid -market clients. After selling Eggrock, Maureen has been CEO of several venture backed companies and an entrepreneur-in-residence at Battery Ventures. Most recently, Maureen served as the CEO of a venture-backed internet consumer company, auctionPAL, that provided an easy way for consumers and small businesses to sell items online.

Maureen is a New England Clean Energy Foundation 2009 Fellow and is currently working on several projects in the Clean Energy space. In addition, she is engaged in the Entrepreneurial Program at the MIT Sloan School as a senior lecturer.

Mike Ewing - SVP Global Partnerships, VistaPrint

In his role as Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships, Mike Ewing is responsible for key business relationships across a broad spectrum of different types of engagements. Under his leadership, partnerships developed have included highly integrated partnerships with FedEx, Intuit, Office Depot (Viking Direct in Europe), OfficeMax, Google and others.

In his first two and a half years at Vistaprint, Mike lead VistaPrint’s acquisition marketing channels focusing on growing and opening new channels. Included in his successful growth model were focused efforts on search marketing, email, affiliate, in the online arena as well as print, direct mail, events and broadcast in the offline.

Mike has extensive experience in planning, managing and analyzing complex multi-channel, multi-segment, affiliate based direct marketing and partnership programs. Before joining Vistaprint, Mike was Vice President, Customer Relationship Marketing at Monster.com where he developed and executed business-to-business marketing programs involving high levels of testing and performance analysis over both the short and long terms. Prior to Monster, Mike worked as a database marketing and technology consultant at Epsilon Data Management. Mike’s experience also includes inbound and outbound call center marketing and operations. Mike earned a B.A. from American University in Washington, D.C. Mike joined Vistaprint in October 2004.

Jacob Farmer - CTO & Founder, Cambridge Computer

Jacob Farmer is an industry-recognized expert on storage networking and data protection technologies. He has authored numerous papers and is a regular speaker at major industry events such as Storage Networking World, VMWorld, Interop, and the Usenix conferences. Jacob's no-nonsense, fast paced presentation style has won him many accolades. Most recently Jacob was honored as the top-rated speaker at Storage Networking World, the preeminent conference for the data storage industry. Jacob is a regular lecturer at many of the nation's leading colleges and universities. Of recent he has given invited talks at institutions such as Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, Duke, Harvard, and Yale. Inside the data storage industry, Jacob is best known for having authored best practices for designing and optimizing enterprise backup systems and for his expertise in the marketplace for emerging storage networking technologies. He has served on the advisory boards of many of the most successful storage technology startups, and is well respected in the analyst community. Jacob is a graduate of Yale University.

Eric S. Groves - SVP, Global Market Development, Constant Contact

Eric has been with Constant Contact® since January 2001 and built the sales and business development departments from the ground up, helping propel Constant Contact's growth to more than 300,000 customers today. In his role, Eric oversees the recruitment, education, and training of small businesses and organizations worldwide. Eric developed Constant Contact's Power of Relationships Program, an educational outreach program for small businesses, associations, and nonprofits offered globally by Constant Contact via live seminars and online webinars. This program provides small businesses and organizations with a comprehensive foundation on how to build successful, lasting customer relationships. In addition to worldwide strategy and market development, Eric also oversees Constant Contact's charitable program, Cares4Kids™

Eric has more than 20 years of experience building sales, business development, online, and marketing strategies for leading companies. Prior to Constant Contact, Groves was the executive director of Worldwide Sales & Business Development at AltaVista, a provider of search services and technology. He also held leadership positions at iAtlas Corp. InfoUSA® Inc., MFS Communications, SBC Communications (now AT&T), and Citicorp (now Citigroup Inc.) and served on the Board of Directors of LogoWorks (acquired by Hewlett Packard). Eric is the author of The Constant Contact Guide to Email Marketing, published in 2009, and is a frequent speaker across the country. Eric has addressed thousands of attendees on behalf of the Small Business Administration, US Chamber of Commerce, Association of Small Business Development Centers, and many other industry organizations.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Grinnell College and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Iowa.

Robert Infantino - Senior Corporate Advisor, TwinStrata

Robert Infantino has over twenty five years experience in the software industry having founded several software companies, served in executive management roles as CEO, SVP of Business Development, Sales and Marketing. He currently serves as senior corporate advisor to several Boston-area software and services companies where he helps companies with go-to-market strategies, business development and fund-raising initiatives. Additionally, Robert is active in the Boston venture capital community where he serves in an advisory capacity.
Robert was Founder & CEO of storage resource management (SRM) software company Astrum Software. Astrum was acquired by EMC Corporation in April 2003. Astrum developed and marketed software products which later became EMC VisualSRM, sold through Dell and also integrated with EMC StorageScope FLR.
For the past several years, Robert served in roles as SVP of Business Development and Marketing for storage virtualization software company, Incipient, Inc. Robert was Founder of AcerSoft, a reseller of system and storage management software to the mid-market. Prior to AcerSoft, Infantino Co-Founded Acorn Software, a pioneer in developing OpenVMS based storage management software for archival storage supporting Fortune 100 based companies. Infantino was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for American Digital Systems, a storage OEM providing a suite of storage solutions primarily to the government sector. Infantino also held software development and hardware engineering roles at GTE Government Systems and Raytheon, respectively.
Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from the University of Connecticut.

Brandon Ingersoll - Partner, MedEquity

Mr. Ingersoll is one of the three founding partners of MedEquity Capital. MedEquity Capital is a private equity firm that invests in later-stage, profitable healthcare companies. While at MedEquity, Mr. Ingersoll has sourced and managed a number the firm's investments in the specialty pharmacy, outsourcing and information technology sectors. Mr. Ingersoll has also taken on various senior management responsibilities in several of MedEquity's portfolio companies for extended periods of time. Mr. Ingersoll's current board responsibilities include EnduraCare Therapy Management, PharmaLogic Holdings Corporation and Medical Consultants Network.

Prior to MedEquity, Mr. Ingersoll was a consultant with Bain & Company specializing in healthcare payor and product related engagements. Mr. Ingersoll was also with McKessonHBOC in various line management roles overseeing the marketing and business development efforts within their healthcare information technology division. Mr. Ingersoll is a graduate of the Harvard Business School and Brigham Young University, Magna Cum Laude.

Steven Kokinos - President & CEO, Thinking Phone Networks

Steven Kokinos serves as the President & CEO of Thinking Phone Networks and is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the company. Under his leadership Thinking Phones has established itself as a pioneer in hosted intelligence market.

Previously, Steven was a founder of BladeLogic, Inc, a data center automation software company based in Waltham, MA. BladeLogic is widely recognized as a leader in the data center automation space, with fortune 500 customers such as GE, Time Warner, Microsoft, Cable & Wireless, Walmart, Sprint, and many others.

Before BladeLogic, Steven was Founder, President, and CEO of WebYes, Inc., an early leader in the web hosting and application service provider market. WebYes provided the electronic software distribution platform for all of Sun Microsystems software products including java. WebYes was acquired by Breakaway Solutions in 1999. At Breakaway, Steven helped establish and run the company's ASP business. Steven played a critical role in building the business to $120M in revenue and taking the company public, and was responsible for Breakaway's ranking as the #2 ASP worldwide based on revenue and customers in just 18 months of operations.

Jeffrey Steele - Partner, Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton

Jeff practices securities and general corporate law, focusing on start-ups and developing companies in high technology industries, including telecommunications, medical devices, software and biotechnology. He has extensive experience representing start-ups, developing companies and investment and venture capital firms in connection with private placements, seed and venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property licensing, initial and secondary public offerings, public company compliance work, and executive employment matters.

Before joining Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendleton, Jeff was an associate with Bingham Dana, LLP, Boston. Jeff graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and earned an A.M. in history from Brown University. He graduated from Cornell Law School in 1992.
