Submission Confirmation Process
Business plans and presentations must be received by December 31, 2009 to be considered for participation in the competition. Business plans submitted after the 31st will either be returned or held for our next event.
Submissions that are selected to participate must pay a fee of $4,995 within 5 business days of notification of selection to participate. Companies failing to make such payment will not be eligible for event participation. Revolutionary Angels will consider the first one hundred timely filed, completed, and fully paid submissions. Companies will be informed that they have been accepted to the program once we receive a completed submission. Selection criteria are based on review of each executive summary against a screening matrix.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How we are different from traditional Angel and VC funding options?
Angels and VC’s invest money they raise from wealthy individuals and large investment funds (i.e., state pension funds like CAPLERS) and invest those funds in new business startups. Those investors expect significant returns on their investments due to the high risks associated with investing in new businesses. As the economy weakened Angels and VC’s had fewer options to generate returns required to meet expected levels. The result of the current economic downturn is that Angels and VC’s have significantly reduced their level of investment.
Funding a business today is more challenging than it has been in recent memory due to the current macroeconomic conditions.
